ACCREDITATION COURSEs
LEVEL 0 REQUIREMENTS (Community Coach):
Pre-requisite : Minimum age 18
ALL DISCIPLINES : Elementary TPS and Preliminary Technical (Singles) or Elementary Dance/Solo Dance
LEVEL 1 REQUIREMENTS (Development Coach):
Pre-requisite: Minimum age 18 and must be an active Level 0 for at least 12 month and been actively coaching (proof of coaching must be provided with reference attached)
SINGLES and PAIRS – Basic Novice TPS and Basic Novice Technical (Accreditation across all 4 disciplines)
DANCE/SOLO DANCE and SYNCHRO – Basic Novice TPS (Accreditation in Dance and Synchro ONLY)
MENTORING : 10 hours before or after completion of the course
LEVEL 2 REQUIREMENTS (Intermediate Coach):
Pre-requisite: Must be an active Level 1 coach for at least 24 month
SINGLES – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive skater in Advanced Novice Level at AFSC
PAIRS – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive skater in Advanced Novice Level at AFSC
DANCE/SOLO DANCE – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive skater/couple in Advanced Novice Level at AFSC
SYNCHRO – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive team in Advanced Novice Level at AFSC
MENTORING : 20 hours per discipline before or after completion of the course
LEVEL 3 REQUIREMENTS (Advanced Coach):
Pre-requisite: Must be an active Level 2 coach for at least 24 month
SINGLES – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive skater in Junior Level at AFSC
PAIRS – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive skater in Junior Level at AFSC
DANCE/SOLO DANCE – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive skater/couple in Junior Level at AFSC
SYNCHRO – Coached for at least 12 months at least one competitive team in Junior Level at AFSC
MENTORING : 20 hours per discipline before or after completion of the course
